Quick facts

Epoxy flooring in Melbourne costs $80–$180 per m² for a full-system install: diamond grinding, crack repair, penetrating primer, epoxy basecoat, and UV-stable polyurethane topcoat. Cheap epoxy at $40–$60/m² typically skips primer and topcoat, and the result peels within 1–3 years. A properly installed epoxy floor over correctly prepared concrete lasts 10–15+ years with minimal maintenance.

What it is

The work, simply.

We grind the concrete to open it up, then apply two-pack epoxy or polyurethane coatings in your choice of finish: solid colour, decorative flake, or metallic. Topcoat for chemical and UV resistance.

Our process

How we deliver this.

  1. 01

    Diamond grind

We grind the concrete to expose a clean profile, which is critical for epoxy adhesion. Existing coatings, glue, and paint are all removed.

  2. 02

    Repair

Cracks, holes, and joints filled with high-strength epoxy patch.

  3. 03

    Prime & build

Penetrating epoxy primer, then two-pack epoxy basecoat. Decorative flake (if specified) is broadcast into the wet basecoat.

  4. 04

    Topcoat

UV-stable polyurethane topcoat for chemical, abrasion, and yellowing resistance. Anti-slip aggregate optional.

Built to last.

FAQs

Epoxy questions, answered.

How long until I can use the floor?
Foot traffic: 24 hours after final coat. Light vehicles: 48–72 hours. Forklifts and heavy use: 7 days. We always give you a firm cure schedule.
Will it yellow in sunlight?
Standard epoxy can yellow in UV. We use UV-stable polyurethane topcoats on any floor that gets sunlight (garage doors, sunrooms, warehouses with skylights). No yellowing.
Can you do flake or metallic finishes?
Yes, both. Flake is the most popular for garages (durable, hides dirt). Metallic is dramatic and works brilliantly for retail and showrooms.
